School Uniform

School uniform with an embroidered logo can be purchased by following the MyClothing link below, however non-branded items of clothing are equally fine which can be purchased from a wide range of high street retailers – no branded items are compulsory in our school.

Basic Uniform:

·Black or grey trouser/skirts or pinafore dresses (no jogging bottoms, jeans or track suits ( please).

·White polo shirt (with or without the school motif).

·Bottle green sweatshirt or cardigan (with or without the school motif).

·Black flat shoes.(No fashion shoes please)

·Summer dress (green and white or yellow and white gingham).

 

P.E. Kit

To be kept in school in a P.E. bag and sent home regularly for washing and checking

·A pair of plain black shorts.

·A standard white T-Shirt.

·Plimsolls and/or trainers

Remember to clearly mark all clothing and personal property with your child’s name.

Please note that for safety reasons:

·Hair should be neat and tidy and any hair accessories such as clips, slides, beads etc should be kept to a minimum.

·Jewellery, with the exception of one pair of stud style earrings, and make up (including nail varnish) should not be worn in school.

·On swimming and PE days studs should be removed by your child prior to activity, taped or not worn to school. A parental disclaimer, outlining school policy and parental/pupil responsibility must be signed if you wish your child to wear earrings at school.

·Children may wear a watch when they are able to tell the time but responsibility for its safe keeping belongs to them, and the school will not be held responsible for any losses.

Darlington Borough Council School Uniform Exchange

Darlington Borough Council offers a school uniform exchange in partnership with Darlington Cares. Further information can be found on the Darlington Cares Facebook Page and the Darlington Cares Twitter Feed.

The Uniform Exchange is located in Queen Street Shopping Centre and they're open:
Monday and Wednesday 9-12
Thursday 1-4
Friday 9:30-2

Donating unwanted school uniforms

If you have school uniforms that you no longer need that are in a good condition you can donate them at one of the drop off points around the town.
