Class 7 - RE

Class 7 learnt about the 10 commandments in RE. We discussed what each of them were and what they meant for Christians. We understood that the Ten Commandments are very important moral rules that Christians live by. In small groups, we ordered the ten commandments, starting with the Commandment we value the most and think is the most important. We really had to think about what would be our number one rule if we created the world to make sure it was looked after. We then shared our most important Commandment and our least important Commandment. Most of us chose 'You shall not kill' as our most important Commandment and most of us chose 'You shall have no gods before me' as our least important Commandment. Our reasons for this were that lots of us believe that it is okay to worship more than one god but we understand that Christians only worship one.
